SOMETIMES NO AMOUNT OF WORDS WILL DO A SUBJECT JUSTICE :) i'd love to say that i’ve been playing with cameras since i was a runt, but i’d be lying. i grew up camping every weekend and playing barbies with friends. i was picked on in high school for wearing hearing aids. i always wanted to be an artist, or a counsellor. when i was eleven, my family decided to leave our small hometown in newfoundland and move halfway across the country to winnipeg... a place i had never heard of. being uprooted from the only home i had ever known was a traumatic experience for me as a little girl, and i soon realized how important it is to document life and the beautiful moments we too often take for granted. my pursuit of storytelling began when on a whim, i decided to go to college for photography.
i love meeting open and like-minded people. especially those who enjoy talking philosophy :)
i love huge libraries, comedy, good conversation, documentaries, camping, skydiving, thinking, remember when’s, laughing, and dancing when i'm cooking. I LOVE DOGS! :) :) dogs teach us a valuable lesson because they are at one with the source, and always living in the moment. i’m intellectual, intuitive, tenacious, stubborn, dramatic, and determined. i love to chat, although i appear very quiet and shy. i have an oddly keen sense of perfection. i love to meditate and analyze, examine and consider things from all angles. i'm afraid of the dark... and cats.

MY CREATIVE VISION
what's the best part about shooting weddings? the honor of being invited to photograph some of the most intimate and loving moments of peoples lives. nothing is more rewarding than documenting a storyline in a moving, emotionally riveting manner. weddings are adventurous, creative opportunities for me to make like a ninja and do what i do best: observe... solely relying on my unique perspective and ability to stay in the moment. photography feeds my curiosity, my determination to discover and create. to break the rules, get off the beaten path, and THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX... creating amazing images that didn't exist before. it is my valuable gift to you, allowing you to remember, and to feel emotions again and again...
MY PASSION
besides laughing until i cry, nothing gives me more joy than when i can ENLIGHTEN you, IMPACT your life, or help you seek your purpose. whatever the method, i'm here to inspire and motivate you. i'm known for not going for the obvious solutions, and being focused in a crisis. you'll usually find me in the ladies room consoling total strangers. :)
MY ENERGY
i'm extremely open-minded. with a natural inclination towards the spiritual, i tend to operate on a rather different wavelength. i am peaceful. often sought after for my wisdom or counsel, the keenness of my imagination helps me to easily identify with the situation of others. i can tune into the energy & feelings of those around me… which is a bonus as your photographer :) weddings emit a strong, unique energy. i love being a part of that!
MY ROAD TO ENLIGHTENMENT
i feature einstein's quote as it deeply resonates with my beliefs & values. i firmly believe in laws of attraction and live my life accordingly on a daily basis. WE CREATE OUR OWN REALITY. we've been given the gift of free will to determine the outcome of our choices. it is simple: choose LOVE instead of FEAR. i adopted this higher state of consciousness last year and was rewarded with one of the most wonderful, spiritual years of my life. a happy life is just a string of happy moments. but most people don't allow the happy moment, because they're so busy trying to get to a happy life...
MY TRUTH-SEEKING QUEST
i experience endless curiosity. history, science, and metaphysics fascinate me and fuel my imagination with inspiration and ideas. for as long as i can remember, i've had a perpetual desire for discovery and knowledge. i invest a lot of time in business seminars, researching, uncovering and understanding the mysteries of life. i strive to share this knowledge with others. =) constantly educating myself keeps my creativity brimming.
MY DREAMS
without dreams, life's a waste. i dream of... freedom. discovering and experiencing the world. finding my tribe of like-minded people. being hugely successful and well-known. publishing a book. finding that one place on earth that i'm destined to live in. winning the lotto and sharing it with strangers in the street. we spend most of our lives cutting down our ambitions because the world has taught us to think small. i say DREAM BIG!! dreams express what the soul is telling you. as crazy as they may seem, dreams have value! don't sweat the small stuff, believe in yourself, get excited about living. life cannot be planned, because it isn't linear. time is an illusion. life is organic; IT IS LIVING, RIGHT NOW. life is magnificent creation. have you looked up at the sky recently?? right now we're on the side of a spinning ball floating in some mysterious black stuff surrounded by billions of stars and galaxies and planets and black holes...
